Early 2011 17 Inch MacBook Pro Upgrade - 512GB OCZ Octane S2 RAID 0 16GB RAM
A major overhaul of the Early 2011 17 inch MacBook Pro. I upgraded the hard drive to a RAID 0 solid state hard drive, upgraded the operating system to Mountain Lion, and installed 16GB RAM. I also tried turning off the CPU Turbo Boost because I felt it was generating excessive heat. Now I am able to play the latest games at maximum settings minus the high shadow effects.
