Hearts of Iron 4 - No Step Back - Infantry Meta Combat Width Discussion 2022
This is a discussion of the Infantry template meta in Hearts of Iron 4 and specifically a reply to "FeedBackGaming / FeedBackIRL" video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uf_2_UiZKg8&ab_channel=FeedbackIRL FOR ANYONE WHO THINKS IM JUST COPYING OTHER HERES A PICTURE OF ME POSTING MY FINDINGS OVER A MONTH AGO: https://imgur.com/a/7pVkEDh When I was talking about flame tanks its obvious you want engineers in your units, everyone has known that for a long time, I was just talking about "No Step Back" changes. Video Contents 00:00 - Intro 00:30 - Discussion 24:00 - Thoughts on "meta" HAVING TROUBLE GETTING REINFORCED MEME'D ??? Another great tactic is to have either a few units on the front line attached to a separate general so you can last stand some of your units for a cheaper command power price. If you cant be bothered to micro that then try out having two units with different combat widths (aka diff org) and they will rout at different time meaning you always have a chance to reinforce. Any comments or input on this discussion would be welcome. Everyone can always get better and I am no exception. My math or thought process could be completely wrong and if it is I would love to know!
