It was built in 1732 and destroyed by Ottomans in 1831. The two-story building with stone arches is fenced, with a large courtyard and the church which is decorated with stunning Byzantine frescoes from 18th century, vaulted ceilings and marble floor. It is renovated and operates as a convention center by the University of Volos.
