Sony VAIO Duo 11 Hands-on from IFA. Windows 8 Ultrabook/Tablet Hybrid
We go hands-on with the Sony VAIO Duo 11 at IFA 2012. It switches between keyboard and tablet modes on Windows 8. The display is an 11.6" Full HD OptiContrast Panel. It comes with ports and interfaces including Bluetooth, USB 3.0, HDMI, Ethernet and VGA video ports. Sony incorporates Near Field Communication (NFC) technology and calls it One-touch. A unique pressure-sensitive digitizer stylus is included for handwriting directly on the touchscreen. Make notes, sketch diagrams or ring key points on your presentation. Smart text recognition even lets you quickly convert handwritten notes to text for easy archiving and searches. There's an optional sheet-type battery that extends battery life and also incorporates a handy holder fir the digitizer stylus.
