FANTASTIC zoom on the Nikon Coolpix p510
looking out my bedroom window with my nikon p510 and this street is way and away, not even to be seen with the eye, and it zooms great. 42x zoom,camera $400 when purchased, I doubt the canon rebel can get this close. This camera takes great photos and the zoom is unbeatable, 16 mp camera point and shoot.
