Yamaha PF10 - $50 swap meet beauty. And a Roland Tape Delay
Something a little different for today. I found this Yamaha PF10 at a swap meet for $50 a few weeks ago. Cleaned her up and put her through my favorite FX, Roland RE-301 Space Chorus tape delay, and Valhalla Shimmer and Ubermod. The biggest shame about this keyboard is that it doesn't have MIDI! DAMN! because the 76-key keybed feels sooooo nice. Anyway, you can see the Minilogue and Mother 32 in the back begging for attention. I'll get to them soon enough. Here's the rundown on the PF10. 6 FM piano sounds, 2 harpsichord sounds, vibes, and clav. That's it. And an onboard chorus which actually sounds really good, though, I'm triple chorusing this thing with it's onboard, the Roland, and Valhalla. I think it sounds lovely and cheesy and all ready to play some 80s sap. Or whatever else you want to throw at it.
