My New PC Build Intel i5 2500K ASUS P8Z68-V GEN3 ASUS RADEON HD 7850
Just wanted to share the results of learning how to build my own PC using YouTube and the various Tech related channels out there. Build took me about 3 months to gather all the parts, tweak and get it to where I can say it is done! Well... it'll never be done, I plan on adding a second ASUS HD 7850 GPU and 2 more 23" Acer Monitors in an Eyefinity set-up. Maybe upgrade the case to an NZXT Switch 810 and the Corsair H60 to an H100... More KA-CHING! It was a lot of fun and it feels great to say I put this together! If you're thinking about building your own rig do not hesitate, it's a great hobby for me now! The ASUS P8Z68-V GEN3 motherboard really takes the guess work out of overclocking the CPU up 32% AND the GPU up 22% with one click of the mouse. Gaming wise (BF3, DIRT3, CoD MW2 and iRacing) everything is set at ultra and or max settings on everything, using STOCK configurations on both CPU and GPU, 1080p res. I have head room you might say. Special thanks to Newegg and Paul's crew, Tiny Tom Logan at Time to Live Customs, Linus at NCIX, PCwizKid, Motherboards.org and J.J. at ASUS for their reviews and tutorials.
