These include new committees at each stage to keep things in check and to help reach amicable resolutions. The new proposed framework seeks to reduce delays and reach resolutions more quickly. There is currently no fixed time frame, and some disputes have been drawn out for years even before reaching court. A six-year time bar will also be imposed for a patient to file a complaint.
