Jaythestingray Reviews Skeeter (1994) - Week 107
Jaythestingray Reviews Skeeter (1994) Director: Clark Brandon Writers: Clark Brandon, Lanny Horn & Joseph Luis Rubin Cast: Charles Napier, Michael J. Pollard, Jim Youngs, Tracy Griffith, Jay Robinson & William Sanderson Synopsis: It stands to reason that mosquitoes the size of bats need to suck a lot of blood to survive -- and suck it they do in this monster movie set in the desert town of Mesquite. First, the cows drop dead, and then, local teens disappear as toxic waste turns a stagnant pond into a breeding ground for mega-mosquitoes. Now, it's going to take a lot more than a can of pesticide (think flamethrowers) to rid the sleepy hamlet of the blood-sucking insects.
