• Serious Sam The First Encounter • Final Fight [Custom Map] + hotfix • No commentary walkthrough
WARNING: This map is glitched. Do not expect to finish the map without cheats since the final battle is glitched. I've included the mapfix below *****HOTFIX DOWNLOAD*****: https://www.mediafire.com/file/icjch95d9gyy3t2/Final%20Fight%20-Hotfix%20v1.rar Serious Sam Classic: The First Encounter Custom Map - Level : Final Fight Difficulty: ★★★★☆* Rating: ★★★★☆ Aesthetics : ★★★★☆ Playtime : ~45 mins Performance : Occasional Stutters Type : Singleplayer / Cooperative Map Author : GeeBee - Description : This is probably one really notable map in the Serious sam mapmaking scenes too. The Aesthetics are perfectly in sync with the Croteam mapmaking Style. However the playstyle for this map is completely different to normal croteam maps. The whole theme is to essentially survive instead. I say this because, if you get low on health in one part of the level, don’t expect to get any significant health back at all. due to the bizzare often poor choices of weapons in some instances, and sometimes too good |cue grenade launcher vs the bulls|. The bizzare spawn patterns of the game will leave you in shambles once you arrive at the kleer -kamikaze fight, leaving with you with little to zero leeway for dodging absolutely everything whilst your ammunition runs out completely. The crux of the early Serious sam mappers would probably be the fact that they misjudge the playstyle of players, whilst underestimating occasionally overestimating what t he player needs for different areas. This makes the player completely inpotent in unthought out fights. The end of the map is completely glitched as the harpies spawn too far up to recognise the player, the level is unbeatable since the player cannot attack the harpies without cheats. The harpies are stuck somewhere in or beyond the skybox so it's nearly impossible to find them. Rocket jumping doesn’t help either. I have included a hotfix of the map in my comments which specifically fixes this. c: Look above
