Orion (piano solo)
Title: "Orion" Composed: November 2013, Daniel Timms Performed: November 2013, Daniel Timms This is a composition I've been working on occasionally for the past year, and is finally finished :) I have sheet music for this so if anyone wants it, send me a message. Orion is a hunter from Greek mythology, placed amongst the stars by Zeus as the constellation of the same name. Recording was done in several pieces and spliced together in post-processing (as unfortunately I'm not sufficiently skilled at piano performance to correctly play a piece of this complexity in a single take!) The original recording was also calmed down to 94% speed for the final edit to keep it sounding like classical music rather than speed metal... Pictures are random ones I found on the internet and all rights belong to whoever owns those.
