The Durham Museum Summer Camp Teacher Feature - Mark Edmondson
Summer is not over yet! There is still time to register for The Durham Museum’s Summer Camp Academy. Camp is offered in one-week sessions through Thursday, August 4. Half-day and full-day programs are available at three grade levels: 1st-2nd grade, 3-4th grades and 5-6th grades. (Please note, these are the grade levels your child will be entering in the 2016-2017 academic year.) All camps are led by certified teachers and assistants and are specifically designed to meet the developmental needs of each grade level. Content focuses on a variety of themes including science, art, history and culture. In addition to a supervised brown-bag lunch hour, The Durham also offers before and after-care for those families needing to drop off before or pick up after camp. “Ethan came home from camp every day last summer excited to share what he learned and the projects they did each day.
