Large Canna Lily Has Spread Over 10 Square Feet in My Tropical Garden | Russian Red Canna Lily

In just a few years, my Russian Red Canna Lily has spread over 10 square feet in my tropical garden in California. I purchased it as a single 6 inch rhizome and it has flourished into an incredibly large plant with the rhizome spreading underground in all directions. The rhizome has spread about 3 feet wide and 3-1/2 feet in length. This is the largest Canna Lily plant in my garden.
