This video is part of the Silk Roads potential documentary heritage project, a collaboration between ICDH and the International Institute for Central Asian Studies (IICAS) in Uzbekistan, and a series of online forums on documents and scripts from the Silk Road. In this four-part series, international experts discuss the Sogdians, a group of traders who significantly impacted the formation of the Silk Road in Central Asia around the 7th and 8th centuries BC, and the scripts and documents they left behind.
