Testing a new feature in development for OpenMW, Navmesh/Pathfinding with Recast
Testing of a new feature currently in development for OpenMW, Navmesh Generation and Pathfinding using Recast and Detour, in this video showing a heavily modded install for OpenMW with Morrowind Rebirth and Starfire NPC's, showing many NPCs navigating the streets of balmora with no help from Pathgrids, as they have been removed using a plugin. Also shown is an NPC following a player outside of the city and able to navigate around obstacles in their path, though this also works for combat with npcs/creatures to fight the player, as well as being able to navigate indoors.
