Things you'll REGRET Not Doing to Your Car Rear Diff is basically the same as the front - but rear is easier to service just ensure you loosen the fill plugs BEFORE you drop any oil from the Diffs - that way IF THE FILL PLUG is seized or your having problems then you haven't lost all the oil. Also both Front & Rear diffs - you only need to fill up - until a thin film of oil comes out of the fill plug.
