The rare Mercedes SLR McLaren 722 S Roadster is a 2000s supercar that can top 205 MPH with the top down, sharing the trait with cars the likes of the Pagani Huayra Roadster and the Bugatti Veyron Grand Vitesse. However, the most interesting thing about this supercar is the history of how it came to be. With a Formula 1 partnership between Mercedes and McLaren, the two came together to build a car based on the historic Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR that Sir Stirling Moss piloted to victory in the 1955 Mille Miglia. With Formula 1 inspiration, modern technology, and a decorated racing pedigree, and a supercharged, muscle car sound, there's no doubt the SLR 722 S Roadster is a special car!
