That Nuzlocke rule being the Setlocke. I, GalacticElliot, did not however make the Setlocke, but a fellow viewer and friend of myself created the rules and suggested I do it, so here I am, willing to take on the challenge of the Setlocke! You may be wondering, however, what exactly is a Pokemon Randomizer Setlocke? Setlocke rules are down below! SETLOCKE RULES - 1. Regular nuzlocke rules apply. If your Pokemon faints, you will not be able to use that Pokemon. It is considered dead. Also, first Pokemon from each route or area is the only Pokemon you will be able to catch. If it is killed, you will be unable to catch any other Pokemon from that area. 2. Once you catch a Pokémon, a number is given to that Pokemon and that Pokemon is set. For example, if it's your first capture then that Pokemon is number 1. Second Pokemon you get is number 2, third is Pokemon number 3, etc. Once you have 6 you can stop numbering them. 3. You must use these Pokémon solo in battles, in order! So when battling the first trainer, you use Pokemon number one, then for the second trainer you will use Pokemon number two. Battle after battle, you keep rotating on and on. You CANNOT switch out the Pokemon that is set. If your Pokemon faints, you MUST use the next number, so if Pokemon numer 3 faints, you must use Pokemon number 4. Multiple chain battles must be switched out for. 4. If a Pokémon faints, you can pick whatever Pokémon out the PC that you want, but it must be assigned the number of the fainted. For example, if you lose Pokemon number 4, the new Pokemon you take out of the box will be number 4, not any other number. 5. If you have Pokémon in the PC, you MUST have 6 Pokemon in your party. You cannot swap Pokemon. 6. Wild battles do not count as set battles. 7. Double Battles = Two Trainer, Triple Battles = Three Trainers, so let's say Pokemon number three is in the front of your party, you use Pokemon number 3 and number 4 in the double battle. Once that battle is over, you put in Pokemon number 5 to be set and ready for the next battle coming up with the next trainer. The Setlocke rule is very flexible and can practically be played on any Pokemon generation you please. If playing on 6th generation, you can play the Setlocke as a Wonderlocke, making it a Wonderlocke Setlocke. This is an interesting challenge that may result with many deaths and possibly a Game Over, but will GalacticElliot succeed the Pokemon Black 2 Randomizer Setlocke Challenge? Stay tuned and enjoy!
