【 Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim 】 Boss 1: Demi-Galba (Nightmare Mode)
Playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLA4ED60603C7A2E67 Boss 1: Demi-Galba, The Wandering Calamity Nightmare Mode Battle begins at 0:25 Because the bridge between Quatera and Canaan Islands has been severed, Adol gains temporary stay with the Rehdan tribe. Isha, shy around Eresians (non-Rehdans), runs off, and Adol eventually finds her at the Fountain of Prayer, apparently just in time to save her from a powerful beast that bursts through the ruins there ════════════════════════════ Demi-Galba, like every other first boss in the series it seems, kills you pretty fast until you get a basic rhythm down to handle what it throws at you. This thing has two main attacks: a flame breath and its hand swipe which it does when you're close. If the flames hit you there's a good chance you'll be down, since it only takes 3 or 4 hits and the stream is continuous for about that long. Running horizontally at the edge of the screen is the best way to avoid it, but still takes a few trials to get down right Up close, Adol's jumping slash is the most effective at dishing damage, as the Demi-Galba negates most attacks to its body (for good reason). It's claw swipe just takes a jump to get over, but of course it can troll and decide to use the flames while you are attacking it, giving you no hope of survival. Fortunately the jumping slash also has some silly physics and pushes you to the safe edge of the screen if you perform it right. ════════════════════════════ The Calamity is seemingly defeated, but presents a set of issues which leads to Adol getting an important weapon and an important mission Game: Ys VI: Ark of Napishtim / イースVI -ナピシュテムの匣- Release Date: 27/09/2003 (PC), 22/02/2005 (PS2) System: PS2 Recorded with Pinnacle Dazzle DVD Recorder
