My Mountain Lion(10.8.4) killed my Snow Leapord(10.6.7)

Apple said that the newer cat(10.8.4) would load,but it only worked for an hour.Then the Mountain Lion killed the Snow Leopard(10.6.7) in this HD.PLEASE be very carefull when loading a heavier OS into a Mac.
