The pipe organ at Lanivet Parish Church, Cornwall
A tour and demonstration of the pipe organ at Lanivet Parish Church, near Bodmin, Cornwall (NPOR N11157). Recorded by Peter Tylor, 03/04/2017, and assembled 06/04/2017 using the YouTube Video Editor (http://www.youtube.com/editor). Although I have passed through Lanivet many times on the way between St Austell and Bodmin, this is only the second time I have visited the church - and the first time that I have played this organ. Many thanks to Lanivet PCC for giving me permission to do so, and especially to Valerie Moore, PCC Secretary, for arranging this visit. The specification of this instrument - built in 1871 by the firm of W. H. Prosser of London - can be viewed online on the National Pipe Organ Register, at http://www.npor.org.uk/NPORView.html?RI=N11157 For more information about the church, see: https://www.achurchnearyou.com/httpswwwfacebookcomlanivet-parish-church-3158194117640/ https://en-gb.facebook.com/Lanivet-Parish-Church-315819411764081/ http://www.intocornwall.com/engine/azabout.asp?guide=Lanivet
