My Olympus EM5 Mk iii arrives on the launch day of the OM Systems OM5! I received a new Olympus EM5 Mark iii the day Olympus / OM Digital Solutions sent me the email telling me that the OM Systems OM5 was launched. Amazing coincidence. I also looked for and found all the Olympus literature that I received from Olympus UK around Christmas 1983 that describes the original OM System in detail and shows the quality of marketing that the company put out around that time. Hopefully, I will go through these brochures and the 1980s Vision Age magazines that a very nice lady from Olympus Japan sent me around the year 2000, which again give an idea of the ethos of the company and also give some fascinating details of its history.
