Mountain Biking in the Mac - From Oak Creek Gate
The nice thing about riding with Corvallis as a base is the variety of trails and riding that is available from Alsea flow to the obstacles of Black Rock to roots of Mary's. We also have MacDonald Forest (OSU Research Forest) and Starker Forests (a very supportive family) who have allow biking. I've spent time riding in other places like Bend and Oak Ridge, and trail for trail I think the trails around Corvallis provide more variety (but that is just me). Here is a sample of summer riding on the Mac and Starker trails (note do not build any trails without permission).
