1941 FISK RADIOLA model 276 RESTORATION PART 6 - FINAL
This is the final episode in the restoration of this lovely old wireless. If you are from Australia you will instantly recognize the ABC news theme as the intro music. Sorry. Couldn't help myself. This restoration has taken so long to finish, it really is headline news (to me anyway)! Back in the day it was always called "the wireless", never the radio. Crock Dundee agrees, and you'd better not argue with him! Having finished the chassis and cabinet, this video is mainly concerned with putting it all back together and trying it out. This is a 7 band short wave receiver and performs really well on short wave, however I haven't covered that much in this video. I plan to post a separate video of a Short Wave "tune around" on it shortly.
