Payday 2 | Enemy AI Lock-Up Bug Using 4 Sentry Guns for Rats D1 OVKL Solo ALP w/ IATOWK Achievement
My first real attempts at using sentry guns and I've already broken the game. So basically I just wanted to complete the I Am The One Who Knocks achievement but ended up bugging the enemies so they don't leave their spawns. This effect holds as long as the assault wave is in progress. I originally didn't intend to obtain this achievement with a bug. I simply did what I would normally do to obtain this and I ended up bugging the enemies instead. I'm not sure of the way of executing the bug, but I believe it's based on AI enemies' behavior of avoiding the sentries line of sight if some enemies already died on it and it would probably be like this: 1. Place the sentry guns near the spawns but hide them so they don't immediately kill the enemies in the spawns. 2. Try to restock sentries with ammo from time to time in the way so they're always up and provide persistent line of defense. 3. When enemies stop coming into sentries' line of fire - stop redeploying them and stop killing the enemies that are trapped on spawn (I made a mistake of not following the latter part of this rule a few times). I'm expecting this bug to work on some loud heists but not all of them. Maybe with more people it is easier to perform this bug. I wonder if it works on One Down...
