Latin Percussion Americana Groove Cajon Review by Sweetwater Sound
Get the LP Americana Groove Cajon here: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/LP1427 In this video I am demonstrating the Latin Percussion Americana Groove Cajon. Cajon's are a simple percussion instrument made to be played while sitting on them and they are great for a lot of different musical situations. Weather you are in a professional Flamenco ensemble, a singer songwriter, a House of Worship band, of you just have a quite gig at a local restaurant, Cajon's provide an easy and fun way to groove. This Latin Percussion Americana Groove Cajon is made with a Baltic birch cabinet and soundboard. It has two fixed snare wires mounted inside the box that gives the drum a snare-like snap when hit towards the top of the soundboard. Couple that with the nice low end "boom" in the middle of the soundboard and you have a beautifully simple rhythm making instrument. Cajon's are a lot of fun to play. Get out there and grab yourself this Latin Percussion Americana Groove Cajon and groove all night long! P.S. - In the video I mistakingly say the Cajon originated from Spain: this is incorrect, the Cajon's rich history originated in Peru. -- Nick D'Virgilio
