Viq – She Weeps Over Rahoon (James Joyce)
“Sogns Penyeach” was knit after a few poems taken from James Joyce's marvelous “Pomes Penyeach” cycle, first published in 1927. Those interpretations have been intuitively composed, primitively recorded and roughly mixed over a week in August 2018 in a small Parisian apartment. They all include mistakes, hesitations, at least one minor fourth chord, and the sound of cars passing by at night. credits Texts by James Joyce Music (guitar, voices, beard scratching and various sounds) by Viq Artwork by Alex Manthei Special thanks to Quentin http://viqsings.bandcamp.com
