Instrumental: Lax Sax by Roberto on Roland GR-20
I wrote this originally with a saxophone in mind but since I didn't have one I played and recorded it on guitar. The title was originally called Lacks Sax but I changed the spelling later since it's got kind of a laid back feel. I eventually learned to play tenor and alto sax when I played 50s/60s music but forgot about this tune until recently and had already sold the saxes. For this recording I used a Roland GR-20 for the sax patch, which I really like and a Godin solid-body SA guitar as the controller. All the patches are from the GR-20 which is an amazing synth! Too bad I have to give both back to my brother when I'm done with my next project, also a sax instrumental. Well, thanks for letting me bend your ear again!
