Solo hunter pet tanking (UK Normal) (2/2)
A bit late but here it is. Tried to solo Forge of Souls normal but it seems unlikely i can get past the second pack of mobs, hehe. http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Frostwhisper&cn=Virge My Hydra(lisk) has 39488 with ghettobuffs (drums etc) when im using the Tier 5 2 set bonus that heals it for 15% of my damage, and around 43k+ with the better ones. Threat is a problem when among well geared players but Misdirection and other threat transfer abilities puts the focus on healing and overall survivability via Stamina. I dont often get to take on the role as Tank nowadays but sometimes i get a chance in random HC's and the response is always encouraging :). Im thinking of scaling back on the Tank gear for more DPS since my pet can take the damage in older dungeons, and it'd speed things up substantially.
