Is the App Store BROKEN or am I? Plus, reacting to my competition | App Underdog #4
Apple doesn't make it easy for indie developers to find success on the App Store. And there are challenges of naming the app, coming up with an icon, and figuring out how to make money. I have shipped several financially disastrous indie apps following the market research techniques shown here. But I am hoping that by being wrong on the internet, together we will come to understand how the App Store works as I develop an app that converts photos into typewriter art. I also try to evaluate the competition.
