AMD FX 6300 + RX 550 | A Decent Budget Combo?
Approaching it's 10th birthday, the FX 6300 carried a lot of controversy along it's lifespan, but it was always considered a nice CPU for a budget gamer, although most of the time beaten by Intel CPUs from similar ranges, it had to offer a higher core count which did help in multi threaded applications, but nowadays with a price tag of 25$ used, and a dead platform called AM3+ someone could wonder if you can still put together a nice budget build featuring this CPU.
